Graveside services for Mary M. Edwards will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Oak View Memorial Park Cemetery in Antioch. Burial follows. She died Thursday at home after a long illness. She was 81. Born in Erda, Utah, she had lived in Antioch for 44 years. She was a customer servce representative for PG&E for 39 years, retiring in 1979. She enjoyed gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanie Rounsaville, of Antioch,; two sons, Tom Edwards of Oakley and John Edwards of Antioch; a sister, Anna Siebers of Toole, Utah; three brothers, David Smith of Antioch, John Smith of Salt Lake City and Alec Smith of Richmond, Wash.; and seven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Tom Edwards, in 1970. Contributions made be sent to the Hospice of Contra Costa County, 2051 Harrison St., Concord, 94520.
