Funeral services: Sunday, Nov. 11 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS, with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Barry Corbett officiated. Mrs. Edwards was born March 21, 1919 in Leake County, MS to Henry and Mae Atkison. She was a homemaker and a member of Yockanookany Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Edwards (Travis) McAdams of Hoover; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Mitchell Edwards; two granddaughters, Alice Edwards (Bill) Peacock and Ashley McAdams (Brian) Johnson and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Homer K. Edwards; a son, James Henry Edwards; her parents, one sister and two brothers.
