She was the daughter of Frederick Charles Edwards and Bessie Marie Metz Edwards.
She graduated from Santa Barbara State College.
She entered AAF flight training at Avenger Field, Sweetwater, TX on 08 January 1944.
She was killed while bailing out due to engine failure on a cross-country training flight in an AT-6C #42-3884 near Childress Army Air Base, Childress, TX.
She was one of thirty-eight WWII WASPs killed while in the service of their country.
Note - her mother's temporary burial location was here Bessie Marie Metz Edwards.
