Mrs. Pearl Eddlemon, 92, of Eudora, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Oak Woods Home for the Elderly in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. Mrs. Eddlemon was a born in Wister, Oklahoma and was raised in Waldron, Arkansas. She was a resident of Eudora for the past six years and a former resident of Parkdale for many years. She was a homemaker, an Assembly of God Pastor's wife and a member of the Indian Switch Assembly of God Church. For 58 years, she and her husband were the Pastors of Assembly of God Churches in Mansfield Arkansas, Macedonia Texas, Dumas Arkansas, Lake Village Arkansas, Noxapater Mississippi and Bentley Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Wallace Lee Eddlemon in 2012; a son, Rev. Randall Eddlemon in 2007; her parents, Clarence & Minnie Stacy Scarbrough; five sisters, Rose Cottington, Bessie Scarbrough, Tonie Forrest, Onie Gibson and Evadien Sykes and five brothers, Guy, Sherman, Mondee, Woodrow and Henry Ford Scarbrough.

She is survived by a daughter, Charyl Lee West and husband, Rev. Roger West, of Eudora; a granddaughter, Candace West Posey and husband, Aaron, a great-grandson, Matthew Posey all of Junction City, Kansas and a niece, Minnie L. Durham of Fort Smith.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Indian Switch Assembly of God Church with Chris Hammond and Ronnie Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Dry Bayou Cemetery. Pallbearers are Henry Welch, Patrick Welch, Harold Dobbs, James Knight, Ronnie Kelley and Gene Martar. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Harris, Jerry Calhoun, Johnny Knight, Bobby Dale Vail and Chris Hammond. Memorials may be made to the Indian Switch Assembly of God Church, 6723 South HWY 159, Eudora, AR 71640.
