Betty Isabel Eckenrode, 95, died on April 7, 2013, at her home. She was the wife of the late William Charles Eckenrode, Sr. Born in Lewistown on April 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William H. Reber, Sr. and the late Elizabeth (Cubson) Reber. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church Red Lion and AARP. She is survived by a son, William C. Eckenrode, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Red Lion; two grandsons, William C. Eckenrode, III and his wife, Tara of York and Michael C. Eckenrode of Red Lion; and a nephew, Stein Reber of Highspire. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013, from 9 until 10 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, followed by a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of South Central PA, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17110. www.etzweiler.com
