Adele Weber arrived at age 6 in New York from Germany aboard the ship Frisa on Nov. 27, 1878 with her parents, Edward and Bertha, sister Clara, 9, and brother Emil, 8 months.

She later married Jacob A. Eberhart and they had two children, Elder and Edward.

Son Elder was a star athlete at Central High School and Indiana University who became well-known basketball coach who is in the Indiana basketball and football Halls of Fame.
