James W. Earsom Dies-Former Madison Farmer
Madison--James Wilford Earsom, Jefferson City, died at the Fairway Nursing Home in Tuscumbia at 3 pm yesterday afternoon.
Born in Henry County on Nov. 6, 1883, he was the son of Anna Louella and James Henry Earsom. Mr. Earsom was a farmer in the Madison area until his wife, the former Miss Luna Lenhart, died in 1954. After that, he lived in Jefferson City with a daughter, Mrs. Datyon Eichelberger, and with another daughter, Mrs. Paul Woods of Madison.
Surviving are the two daughters; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Services were at Thompson and Mackler Funeral Home in Madison, burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Madison.
