Bennie L. Earp, died at age 81. Her parents were: Benjamin Jones and Ann Jones. she lived in Jay since 1941, when she moved from Joplin Missouri. A certified nursing assistant, working in the nursing home industry, she was employed by Gains' Nursing Home in Jay for more than 20 years. Bennie married James Earp in May 30, 1942. he preceded her in death in 1980. She was also preceded in death by one brother Robert Jones, and three sisters, Diana Driskell, Margaret Johnston and Shirley Phillips. Survivors include two sons, Jim Earp and Gary Earp, all of Jay; one daughter Linda Earp Jones of New Castle and one brother Billie K. Earp of Jay. Burial date Nov 28, 2006 in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Jay Oklahoma.
