Audran L. Early died March 4, 1994, in San Jose at the age of 91. Audran was born Feb. 6, 1903, in Alton, and was a member of the pioneer Dennis Early family.
Audran lived in Grizzly Bluff, Ferndale and Eureka before moving to San Jose. He was retired from Phillips 66 Oil Co. after 40 years. He was a fourth-degree knight of Knights of Columbus and while living in Eureka he was an active member of St. Bernard's Parish.
Audran is survived by his wife, Frances Early of San Jose; two daughters, Patricia Churchill of Fresno and Irene Henderson of Eureka; a son and his wife, Richard and Joan Early of San Jose; a sister, Mae Bugbee of Petrolia; a brother and his wife, Wayne and Wilma Early of Red Bluff; 28 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Audran was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Early; his parents, Joseph and Stella Early; a sister, Noreen Early; two brothers, Wallace and Elwood Early; a brother-in-law, Clark Bugbee; a son-in-law, Keith Henderson; and a great-grandchild, Katie Chase.
