JUANITA ODOM EARL
July 4, 1902 ~ December 25, 1985

Funeral services for Juanita Earl, 83, Marshall, Texas, were conducted Friday morning in St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Idabel, with the Rev. Pete Jones officiating.

Mrs. Earl died Christmas Day in Marshall Memorial Hospital.

Born July 4, 1902 at Eagletown, she lived much of her life in McCurtain County, moving to Marshall in 1980 from Idabel.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Kappa Delta Sorority and was a charter member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

During World War II, she served as Oklahoma State Director of food production, and is commemorated in the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include one daughter, Joann Bridge of Marshall; two sisters, Laura Clarkson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Nell Felton of Stillwater; three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Arrangements and burial in Denison Cemetery were under the direction of Norwood Funeral Home of Idabel.
