Mary Jo Barcliff, age 62, of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014. She was born March 11, 1952 in Ozark, the daughter of Guy Eakins and Martha Jane (Doss) Eakins. A woman of faith, Mary continued to live in Ozark throughout her life, devoting herself to the Lord and to her family.

Mary had been an employee of Walmart as a Health and Beauty manager. She was a faithful member of Ozark Full Gospel Church. Always helpful and generous, Mary always put others first, bringing joy to her family and friends, even as she experienced hard times.

Survivors include: Her son, Bob Kendall and wife Natalie of Mogador, Ohio; her daughter Ronica Duncan and husband Nathan of Springfield; five grandchildren, Rori Kendall, Payton Kendall, Rhian Kendall, Cruz Duncan, and Bowen Duncan; brothers and sisters, Guy Eakins and wife Jan, David Eakins and wife Sharon, Chuck Eakins and wife Millie, Janet Heatherly and husband Wandal, Stephen Eakins and wife Kay, James Eakins and wife Judy, Timothy Eakins and wife Joella, Jonathan Eakins and wife Beverly, and Mark Eakins; many nieces and nephews and friends, and her canine companion, Chi Chi.

Her parents and a brother, Galen Eakins preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, August 16, in Ozark Full Gospel Church. Burial will follow in Ozark City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
