Funeral Service Held in Knox City Methodist Church — Burial in La Belle Cemetery.

Mrs. John Dyer, 71, died Wednesday at her home in Knox City.
Ella M. Lyon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Lyon, was born February 15, 1865, at LaGrange. At the age of ten years she moved with her parents to Edina. She became a member of the Methodist church at Knox City in 1902. She was married April 8, 1907, to John F. Dyer, at Iola, Kansas, living there until 1910. She then moved to a farm north of Knox City, where she spent the remaining years of her life.
Surviving are her husband and four children, two sons and two daughters, Floyd R. Dyer, of Quincy, Bruce Dyer, of Litchfield, Illinois, and Mrs. Mace Wise and Mrs. Edward Zimmerman, of Alton. Illinois.
The funeral was held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church, in Knox City, conducted by the Rev. Earl Woodard, of Edina, assisted by the Rev. C. V. Bitteker, pastor of the Knox City church. Burial was in LaBelle cemetery. Music was furnished by a quartette, composed of Ada Mae and Jo Ellen McKay, Betty Jo McReynolds and Christina Mae Holling, with Genrose McCollough at the piano. Pallbearers were Roy and Rob Bone, Coil Florea, Chris Benner, Percy Shotton and Everett Florea.
Mrs. Lizzie Snelling, of LaBelle, attended the funeral. Mr. Dyer was ill and unable to attend the services. — Knox City Correspondent.
