Sallie (Dycus) Brewer was born on August 5, 1899 in Kentucky, the daughter of James Lee "Jim" Dycus (1875–1952) and Sis (Stokes) Dycus.
She was married about 1920 to Hazel "Goble" Brewer (1899–1967), the son of Docia "Doshie" (Boatwright) Brewer (1869–ca 1910) and her 2nd husband John Henry Brewer (1849–1928). {While Hazel signed his World War I Draft Registration Card as Hazel Gobel Brewer, he was buried under the name Goble Brewer.}
Sallie was 52 years old and married when she died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound on April 24, 1952 at her home in rural Elkton. Burial was the same day in Glenwood Cemetery.
Much of the above is from her Death Certificate, with Goble Brewer as the informant.
