He united in marriage on November 21, 1941 to Annie Lucille Creason who survives. Also surviving is a son and daughter and their spouses: Jerry and Carol Durrett of Summersville and Shelia and J. T. Stearman of Greensburg; one sister: Margie Skaggs of Summersville; five grandchildren: Debbie Keplinger of Elizabethtown, Michelle Clem of Elizabethtown, Jamie Blakeman of Greensburg, Kelli Stearman Wright of Georgia and Jill Stearman of Louisville; five great-grandchildren: Keisha Hall, Jacob Keplinger and Chelsea Clem of Elizabethtown; Bryce Blakeman of Greensburg and Logan Wright of Georgia and a host of other relatives and friends.
Eudell Durrett was preceded in death by a sister Betty Susan Durrett.
Funeral services for Eudell Durrett were conducted on Wednesday, December 11 in the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Green County Memory Gardens with the Rev. Leslie Jewell officiating.
Active pallbearers were Daniel London, Jason Wright, Sammy Blakeman, Stephen Clem, Ron Keplinger and Everett Milby.
