She united in marriage to Mr. McKinley Bush, who preceded her in death in 1923. To this union was born one son: Russell Bush of Horse Cave.
She united in marriage to Mr. Emmett Horton, who preceded her in death in 1943. To this union were born: Mrs. Gertrude Sim--ns, Mrs. Fraces Burgess, Mrs. Dorothy Peyton and Mrs. Gladys Baker, all of Winchester; Mrs. Corrine Robinson, Louisville.
She later united in marriage to Mr. Levy Durrett October 18, 1948 and he preceded her in death August 13, 1972. To this union was born one son: Billy Durrett of Ft. Knox.
Mrs. Durrett is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Nora West of Horse Cave and Mrs. Elizabeth Bloyd, Greensburg; four brothers: Robert and Bill Bush both of Illinois; Ed Bush, Horse Cave; and Claudie Bush, South Carolina; 31 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 1984 with burial in the Wilson Cemetery. Rev. Ancil A. Durrett officiated.
Active pallbearers were: Allen Durrett, David Durrett, Chris Gentry, Courtis Peyton, Calvin Durrett and Milton Creed Bloyd.
Honorary pallbearers were: Robert Baugh, Johnny Prewitt, Raymond Watts, Mike Watts, Jimmy Ball and David Robertson.
