Ernestina worked as a farm laborer and was an active church leader as a Eucharistic Minister and officer of the Guadalupano Society at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church
Ernestina is survived by her children; Carmen, Dolores, Alicia, Alfonso, Mariana, Maria Elena, John, Elizabeth and Ricky; 22 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Sterling & Smith Funeral Home, on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
