Carolyn M. Schaffer, 72, formerly of 900 Sour Apple Lane, Bethlehem, died Sunday, Sept. 15, in Sacred Heart Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ralph L. Schaffer.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Anna (Ohlinger) Dunkle.
Survivors: Sons, Raymond of Bethlehem and Ralph L. Jr. of Wescosville; sister, Marion, wife of Paul Bednar of Walnutport, and four grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10 a.m. Wednesday.
