BOLAND (Dunham), Shirley Age 83, took leave of this world on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Her passing opened a hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved her that will be difficult to mend. Shirley was a fun vibrant lady who loved life and all it had to offer. She embraced the world and loved to travel, enjoying various foods, libations and cultures. Shirley was an accomplished artist, particularly in watercolors, and a very fine bridge player. Her passion, zest, humor, grace and kindness will be missed by all who had the fortune to have her in their life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kellar and Merdella Dunham. Shirley is survived by her husband, Bill (the love of her life); sister, Nancy (George) Vergamini; children, Kevin (Renee) Boland, Kathy (Doug) Humphreys - Wagner, Marilee (Rob) Pretzinger, Maureen Moon and Anne (Mark) Franklin in addition to numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews. A devout Catholic, she graduated from Julienne High School, attended the University of Dayton and was a member of several Dayton parishes over the years, including St. Albert the Great, St. Charles Borromeo and Church of the Incarnation. Family will greet friends from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH.
