Bristol Herald- Thursday, May 29, 1924- Amelia, wife of Joseph Dumas and George Morrill, twice married, passed away at the age of 78 years 9 months and 7 days, at the home of her son Fred Morrill on river St. May 13. She was the mother of 8 children, who mourn her loss. Those out of town, Arthur Farnum and wife, Montpelier, George J. Morrill, Hartford, Conn., Earl Liberty and wife, Burlington, Elwood Morrill, Springfield, Mass., Vera Morrill, Burlington, Frank Morrill, Hinesburg, Mrs. Charles Palmer, Vergennes, Arthur Kimball, Burlington, 22 grand children, 10 great grandchildren. Most of her life was passed in South Starksboro and Lincoln. She was a kind and loving mother and will greatly missed by all who knew her. The funeral was at St. Ambrose church the 16th, interment in the family lot at South Starksboro.
