MR. ALEX DUGGINS 1901-1997

Mr. Alex Duggins, 95, of 686 Cane Run, Harrodsburg, died Monday, May 5, 1997 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born November 16, 1901 in Washington County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Visa Gabhart Duggins. He was the widower of Maude Merriman Duggins.
He had been an electrician at Kentucky Utilities and was a member of the Bohon Christian Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Leona Kish, Florida, one foster daughter, Lucy Grillo, Lexington; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Duggins will be held at 11:00 a.m. today, Thursday, May 8, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jay B. Gillum officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Reno Grillo, Mark Merriman, Mike Merriman, Doug Devine, Michael Hough, Kevin Perkins, Alex Perkins.
Memorials are suggested to the Cpt. John A. Perkins Memorial Scholarship Fund at Harrodsburg High School

HARRODSBURG - Alex Duggins, 95, formerly of Cane Run Street, died Monday at Haggin Memorial Extended Care.
Born in Washington County on Nov. 16, 1901, he was a son of Daniel and Visa Gabbard Duggins. He was an electrician retired from Kentucky Utilities. He was a member of Bohon Christian Church. He was widower of Maude Merriman Duggins.
Survivors include a daughter, Leona Kish of Florida; a foster daughter, Lucy Grillo of Lexington; two grandchildren; and two great -grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Home by the Rev. Jay Gillum. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Reno Grillo, Mark and Mike Merriman, Doug Devine, Michael Hough and Kevin and Alex Perkins.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may go to the Alzheimer's Association.
