DICKINSON - Rudy Dues, 51, of Dickinson passed away September 2,1998.

He was born December 30, 1946, in Galveston, Texas.

Rudy was the street superintendent for the City of Dickinson, lifelong resident of Dickinson, and was recognized for his years of devoted service by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Dickinson Beautiful for outstanding public service, and for 25 years was a volunteer for Civil Defense/Emergency
Management.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 4, 1998, at Shrine of True Cross Catholic Ohurch in Dickinson at 10:00 a.m. with Monsignor Milam Kleas and Monsignor Eugene Cargill officiating. The family received friends at a visitation and a vigil was held on Thursday evening at the church. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert "Bob" Dues.

Rudy is survived by^his mother, Bonnie Dues; wife, Suzanne Brady Due; two daughters, Amy Dues and Paige
Dues Fowler and husband Chuck Fowler; one grandchild,
McKenzie Fowler; two sisters, Diane Dues Magliolo and husband Dr. Mike, Julie Dues Masters and husband Ron; three brothers, Edward Dues and wife Betsy, Hal Dues and wife Harriett, John Dues and wife Lori; and his very best friend, Ron Morales. Lovingly remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews,
as well as many friends.

Pallbearers will be Corey Magliolo, Anthony Dues, Jeff Edwards, Patrick Magliolo, Robert Dues and Zack Morales. Honorary pallbearers will be Dickinson City employees.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dickinson Volunteer Fire Department, Mares Library in Dickinson or a charity of your choice.
