NEWPORT NEWS - Paul M. Dudley, 90, passed away into the loving arms of his father the Lord Jesus Christ and his loving wife Lucille on April 18, 2016. He was a native of Salemburg, N.C. and had been a resident of Newport News for 55 years. Paul retired from Newport News Shipbuilding after 15 years of service and was in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Parkview Church of God. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Dudley and his son, Mike Dudley also known as Scott Michaels. Survivors include his stepdaughters, Nora (Wayne) and Luci (Don); son, Larry Dudley; stepson, Jimmy Turlington; sisters, Angel Heinzman, Nina Benoche, Nadeen Lime (Tom); eleven grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20 at Peninsula Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21 at Parkview Church of God will burial to proceed in Peninsula Memorial Park.
