She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Belleville, MI, where she volunteered her help often and actively participated in the senior citizen group. She enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, garage sales, traveling, and going on field trips to the casino with her friends. Most of all, she loved being "Nanny" to her beloved family.
Betty is survived by three children Sandra (John) Moe of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, Michael Duchin of Romulus, MI, and Deborah (Mark) Wilutis of Brighton, MI; sister-in-law Ruth Criche of Howell, MI; 7 grandchildren, Ty, John, Alex, Jason, Katie, Michael and Carly; two great-grandchildren Tyler and Jeremy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alex Duchin, and her brother William J. Criche, Jr.
