CULLEN-Mary A. of Fairfield Harbour, NC, on October 2, 2003 at her residence. Born Mary Driscoll in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY, on August 25, 1928. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1945 and worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals until her marriage in 1951. A longtime resident of Northport, NY (1958-1992), she did volunteer work for a number of local charitable organizations including the St. Charles Ladies Auxiliary. Mary's administrative skills were only slightly overshadowed by her regionally acclaimed clam chowder. A wake will take place at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, 2-5 and 7-9PM on Sunday, October 5th. A funeral mass will take place at St. Philip Neri Church, Northport, on Monday, October 6th at 10AM. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband of fifty-two years, William Cullen. Mary is survived by five daughters, MaryJane, Patricia, Christine, Joan and Barbara; five sons, William, Terence, Timothy, John and Michael; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
