Ada Tatum Driggers was the daughter of William Harvey Tatum and Laura Fedonia Redd Tatum. William was the son of Manatee County Pioneer George J. Tatum and wife Lucy Joyce Tatum. Laura was the granddaughter of Reverend Issac Redd and Elender Elizabeth Brown. She was born in the old Tatum House that is now reconstructed and preserved at the Crowley Musuem and Nature Center in Sarasota. Ada married Ross L. Driggers on May 6, 1906 in Manatee County, Florida. The couple had two children Florence born 1908 and Rosa Lee born 1912. Ada died in Bee Ridge Florida on May 8, 1951. She was buried in Tatum Ridge Cemetery with most of her ancestors.
