Mrs. Amelia Drexel, 72, North Western, sister of Mrs. William (Gertrude) Lauber, Rome, died today in a Rome hospital.
She was born in Steuben on Feb. 14, 1892, daughter of Christopher and Pauline Hecker Haber.
Fifty-eight years ago she married Frank Drexel who died in
1941.
Mrs. Drexel, who lived at North Western 25 years, belonged to the Methodist church there.
Also surviving are two other sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Sophie) Persons, Boonville, and Mrs. John (Frances) Gouveneur,
and a brother, Otto Haber, Boonville.
Burial will be in Steuben Corners Cemetery. Rome Daily Sentinel, Tuesday Evening, July 21, 1964
