Services for Ruth Dean Drewett were held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2002 in the First Baptist Church of Winnfield, LA with Rev. Lindsey Burns officiating. Burial was in Winnfield City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

Mrs. Drewett, age 91 of Winnfield, LA died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at the Winn Parish Medical Center.

She was a native of Winnfield, LA and was member of First Baptist Church where she taught the Tri-L Sunday School class and was a Sunday School Teacher for 35 years.

Survivors are two nieces, Clarice Perdue of River Ridge, LA and Helen Lynn Bankston and husband Tommy of Winnfield; and one nephew, Walter Perdue of River Ridge, LA.

Pallbearers were: Don Walsh, Gene Porter, Norris Bailey, Charlie Bice, Lyn Bankston, Chip Little, Ron Frazier, Don Causey and Lamar Tarver.
