DELIA DRAKEFORD DEAD AT HER BROTHER'S HOME.

Miss Delia F. Drakeford died at 6 a. m., Tuesday, at the home of her brother, Frank Drakeford, in Huron, aged 77 years. She had been in failing health for about year, due to heart trouble; but had been confined to her bed for only a fortnight, lobar pneumonia being the cause of death.
Besides the brother already mentioned, who is himself seriously ill, she leaves one other, Fred Drakeford, of North Rose.
Miss Drakeford was for approximately a half century employed in the family of the late W. W. Paddock, and remained with his widow till she, too, passed away two years ago this coming spring. She saw all of the children grow from childhood or infancy to manhood and womanhood, and took as keen an interest in their welfare as if they had been her blood relatives. Her faithfulness and loyalty were unquestioned and unquestionable. There are few like her to-day, and there never were many. She was the daughter of a Congregational minister, and had a strong religious faith.
The funeral will be held from her brother's home at 2 p. m., to-morrow (Friday) with interment in the Huron cemetery.
