Edward was the 4th child for Gouverneur and Almira, he was named after Gouverneur's brother Edward.
There is also a Marker for Baby Edward in the Lodi Cemetery. Apparently his parents were moved to Forest Hills at some point. Where baby Edward is actually buried is unknown. I think he is still in Lodi. These guys are all in the Marshall Plot in Forest Hills. Edwards sister Esther Ann was married to Job Marshall and they are buried there. I am thinking that it was her and her husband who had her parents and Edward moved to Forest Hill. Maybe they bought a plot for baby Edward in Forest Hill, but never actually moved him over there. I don't know it's a puzzle that may never be found as the records for Lodi and Forest Hills back then are either gone or the information is not on the record.
