Lenore Y. Armstrong, 91, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, in Wenatchee, WA. She was the third of eight children born to Harry and Martha Dorn on August 20, 1923, in Fargo, ND. She moved in the early 1930’s to Cashmere, WA, then later to Wenatchee, WA. Lenore was a gifted portrait artist from a very young age. She had a love for music, singing, reading and taking pictures of family and friends. She will always be loved, missed and remembered by all of us who loved her.
Lenore was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Armstrong; son, William Ingram; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Smith of Sagle, ID; her granddaughter, Johanna Lemmon of Tacoma, WA; her grandson, Justin Ingram of Seattle, WA; one great-grandson, Luke Lemmon and one great-granddaughter, Emily Lemmon, both of Tacoma, WA; one sister, Carol Smith of East Wenatchee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015, at Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home in Wenatchee.
