BECK, Kathleen Marie "Kathy" - 63, South Berwick, Kings Co., passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Newburne, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Hibbert and Hilda Marie (Mansfield) Dorey. She was a homemaker all of her life and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Surviving are sons, Ricky Beck, South Berwick; Andrew Beck, at home; daughters, Gail Prest, Halifax; Lissa Beck, Toronto, Ont.; grandchildren, Brett, Heather, Alex, Mason, Kaylan and Robert; brothers, Stanley (Geneva) Dorey, Somerset, Kings Co.; Maynard (Delma) Dorey, Bridgewater; Carman (Noreen) Dorey, New Cornwall, Lunenburg Co.; Bernard (Judy) Dorey, Wileville, Lunenburg Co.; sisters, Joan Zinck, Feltzen South, Lunenburg Co.; Irene (Donald) Beck, Newburne; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond H. Beck; brother, Merlin Dorey; sisters, Mary Dorey (in infancy) and Joyce Dorey. Visitation for family and close friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, Rev. Donald MacPherson officiating, with burial in Berwick Cemetery.
