LaVonne Elizabeth Doom Cellmer passed peacefully on March 6, 2014, in Bozeman, Mont. She was born in Seattle, Wash., on Oct. 6, 1942, to Walter Russell Doom and Doris Elizabeth Coakley Doom. She has one younger brother, Walter.
The family moved to a dairy near Boyd where LaVonne loved driving silage truck for her dad and chasing geese off the road. LaVonne graduated from Joliet High School in 1960.
LaVonne and Donald A. Cellmer were married on July 28, 1962, residing in Billings until moving to Bozeman in 1994. While in Billings, LaVonne worked in the Trust Department at Midland National Bank after attending college at Eastern Montana College. She left the bank to become office manager at Reger Property.
LaVonne was a member of the Holy Rosary Parish in Bozeman. Saturday evening mass was an important part of her life.
Her father, Russell; and daughter, Melissa, precede LaVonne in death. Her husband, Don; mother, Doris Parker; and brother, Walt, survive her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or Hospice of Deaconess Bozeman.
A Vigil Service will be held at Smith West Chapel on Tuesday, March 11, at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass is at St. Pius X Church on Wednesday, March 12, at 11 a.m. with rite of committal to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
