Born and raised in Brooklyn, Laura was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Holman Donoghue.
She married William Williams on March 20, 1918 and had a son, William Williams Jr. in August 1919. Her husband died in 1943.
Laura was living at 193 Bay 20th St. in Brooklyn with her brother, Charles, when she met Philip Dolfini who was renting a room from them. She married Philip on March 3, 1951 and moved with him to Seymour, Connecticut.
After Philips death in December 1951 she returned to Brooklyn where she died in 1966 at age 70.
