Mrs. Anna Myrtle Donnelson, 81, died at 12:35 a.m., Sunday, June 14 at Community Memorial Hospital here where she had been a patient for three days.
She was born March 19, 1883 at Marshall, Minn., the daughter of Clarence E. and Margaret (Pound) Dean. She lived most of her life in the Magnolia area before moving to Modale 13 years ago.
On July 28, 1908 at Blair, Neb., she was married to Henry Donnelson. Mr. Donnelson passed away a number of years ago.
She leaves 87 direct descendents. The survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Leo Ford (Beulah), Mrs. Howard Swaney (Ethel) and Mrs. Floyd Layton (Florence), all of Modale; Clarence Hunt of Mondamin, Ia., Eddie Donnelson, Roy and Darrel Donnelson, all of Modale, and Victor Donnelson fo Council Bluffs, 32 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Hardy-Walker Funeral Home in Missouri Valley at 2 p.m., Tuesday June 16 with Elder John M. Jensen officiating. Bruce Norris will be vocal soloist and Mrs. Harry W. Adams organist.
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jerome and Lyle Donnelson, Clarence J. Hunt, Harold Layton, James Swaney and Ronald Ford.
