Services for Nora A. Barnes, 87, 1915 W. Eighth, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours at Meeks Mortuary are 7-9 p.m. tomorrow or an hour before services Monday at the church.
Mrs. Barnes died yesterday in Ball Hospital apparently after suffering a heart attack. She was the widow of Claud Barnes.
She was born in Massillon, Ohio, came to Muncie as a child with her parents, Ernest and Etta Doxey Dominick, and attended Garfield School.
At one time, Mrs. Barnes was employed at Republic Iron and Steel Co.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 104, and White Shrine of Jerusalem Chapter 14.
Surviving are three sisters, Stella Gildea, Fort Wayne, and Merril Dominck and Mrs. Leon (Dorothy) Elliott, Muncie.
