Funeral services for Clara Frances Cates, age 77, of Tullahoma will be conducted on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 3:00pm at the chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 1 until 3pm at the Tullahoma Funeral Home. Mrs. Cates passed away Friday, September 21, 2007 at the Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma
Clara was born on March 30, 1930 to Raymond and Odell (Swinford) Dodson, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Magdelene Teters and her brother, Melvin Dodson. She is survived by her husband Oscar G. Cates, four children; Brenda Welch, Rita Barnes, Melody Ables and Gerald Cates. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, as well as two brothers, Leonard Dodson and Henry “Bill” Dodson.
