Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington. She was born Dec. 1, 1920, at Burlington, to Henry and Louise Dreckmeier Burgus. She married Lawrence "Jack" Dodge on July 3, 1941, at Bethany Lutheran Church, Burlington. He died Nov. 8, 1994.
Surviving are one son, Thomas C. (Carol) Dodge, Marietta, Ga.; one daughter, Susan (Larry) Mason, Normal; three grandchildren, LeeAnn (Berry) Dodge, Marietta, Ga.; Tricia Mason, St. Paul, Minn.; and Michael (Sheri) Mason, Castle Rock, Colo.; two great-granddaughters, Reagan Gibson and Jillian Gibson; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
She was an editor for National Research Bureau and a homemaker.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Bloomington. She was a member of Miriam Circle, life member of Rheda Coates Kings Daughters, past chairperson of Altar Guild, reception committee, church council and various other committees. She was a hospital volunteer for Great River Medical Center and had served as an election judge. She was active in the class of 1938 of Burlington High School.
