Anna Nicholas, of North Locust Street, Hazleton, died Wednesday evening at Hazleton General Hospital. She was born in Ebervale, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Onifer) Dobash. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. Prior to retiring, she last worked in the Duplan.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, John, in 1982; and brothers and sisters, Joseph, Helen Carelli, Margaret Fristick, John, Mary Thomas, Paul, Edward, Stephen and George. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Rokus, Ebervale; and a brother, Leo Dobash, Drifton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Hazleton. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Arrangements are under the direction of Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., Hazleton.
