HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. — Timothy D. Doane, 49, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., died on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, from injuries sustained in a car accident on Christmas Eve.
He is survived by his sons, Nick Doane and Ron Miller, his daughter Carin Tepovich and two grandchildren, his mother and step-father, Caroline and Fred Niehoff, two sisters, Leslie Doane Johnson and Darrah Doane Smith, his brother, Michael Doane; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, David P. Doane.
He was a 1979 graduate of Hendersonville High School.
A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Cedars, 227 Seventh Ave. W, Hendersonville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Brain Trauma Foundation or Donate Life.
