Hazel Anne Wilton was born December 26, 1912 in Jacksboro, Texas to Robert Pyles and Lola Ella (Dunn) Dixson. She married James Everett Wilton, September 9, 1931 in Oklahoma, he preceded her in death June 15, 1988. She worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at the Jack County Hospital for many years. She is also preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Everett Waddy Wilton; sisters, Claudia Hughes and Ora Francis Behne; brothers, Vernon, Durward and R. P. Dixson. Hazel passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in Jacksboro, Texas at the age of 93 years.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 7 pm Friday July 21, 2006 at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro. The service will be 10:00 am Saturday July 22, 2006 at the Coker Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Winn Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Lenora Shelton of Jacksboro; daughter-in-law, Marlene Wilton of Palestine, TX; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
