Helen Marie (Miller) Dixon, 94, formerly of Frostburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, in Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.
Born Nov. 8, 1913, in Jennings, she was the daughter of the late Harry O. and Nancy (Shaw) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her
husband, Arnold William Dixon, July 7, 1959; her step-mother, Lulu (Warnick) Miller; and two sisters, Melva Miller and Rose Monahan.
Mrs. Dixon was a registered nurse for public
health in Garrett and Howard counties. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 1935. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Laurel, where she resided for over 50 years.
She is survived by a daughter; a brother; one sister; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Interment will be in Blooming Rose Cemetery.
