Mrs. Mozelle Martin Dixon, 89, died Thursday (June 1, 2006) at Banner Hospice House in Gilbert, AZ.
She was a native of Baxley, grew up in Waycross, lived most of her life in Atlanta, and had been living in Phoenix, AZ for the past 11 years. He was the daughter of the late James Loss Martin and Jennie Copeland Martin.
She was a graduate of Waycross High School and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
The survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Dixon Stewart (husband Joseph W.) of Phoenix, AZ; a grandson, Jay Stewart (wife Glenda) of Phoenix, AZ; a granddaughter, Cresa L. Stewart of Phoenix, AZ; two great grandchildren, Brittany Michelle Stewart and Tres Stewart.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (June 6, 2006) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10 until 11.
