Alice M. Nabb, 94, a resident of Clinton, Iowa and formerly of Davenport, Iowa and Moline, Illinois died Monday, August 16, 2004 at the Alverno Health Care Center, Clinton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 20, 2004 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alverno Health Care Center.

She was born November 25, 1909 in Davenport, the daughter of Fred & Katherine (Farren) Dismer. She was married to Karl Nabb who preceded her in death.

Alice was employed as a nurses aid at the former Lutheran Hospital in Moline. In earlier years, she worked at St. Katherines/St. Marks, the Bendix Corporation and at the Alcoa Company.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters & sons-in-law, Delores & Paul Harding of Clinton and Shirley & Leonard Gilbert of Lakewood, Colorado; her sons & daughters-in-law, Carl & Ingelore Nabb of Park View, Iowa and William & Joy Nabb of Coal Valley, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Alice was preceded in death by two sisters & five brothers.
