Norman Dinkel born in Pinckney, June 30, 1901. He was the son of Gottlieb and Emma Dinkel, age 17 years, 5 months and two days. He was of a quiet nature and a member of the Congregational Sunday school and a regular attendent when at home. About two weeks ago while working in Howell he was stricken with the flu which developed into pnuemonia and on Monday, Dec 2, 1918 his gentle spirit took its flight. Surviving him are his parents and one sister Cordelia now at home. Funeral from the home in Pinckney, Rev. F S Hurlburt officiating. Internment in Pinckney cemetery.
