Ron was born in Nampa, Idaho, to Richard and Louella Dillon. He graduated from Nampa High School in 1967. After serving three years in the army, he met and married Alexandria McNish. To this union was born two children, Heather and Neil. They were later divorced. He later married Chris Winters.
Ron was a great lover of the outdoors and especially enjoyed his camping trips to Sage Hen Reservoir. He also loved huckleberry picking. He played basketball and football in high school, and was an all around sports fan supporting Boise State.
Ron was known for his big heart and great sense of humor and was always the clown of the family.
He is survived by his wife Chris of 28 years; his daughter Heather (Chris) Sabala; his mother and step-father Louella and Elmer Crew; sisters, Marcia (Byron) Caldwell, Pam Lawrence (Art West); brothers, Richard (Kathy) Dillon, Randy (Judy) Crew; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Neil Dillon, his father Richard Dillon, and his grandparents.
