'Bennie' Diegelman Dies at Age of 69, Oct. 26, 1966
Son, Brother and Sister Are Among Survivors.

Funeral services for Benedict Diegelman, 69, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Plainview cemetery. Mr. Diegelman was found dead Wednesday morning in his trailer home at the Husler residence, where he resided. Mr. Diegelman, a son of William Benedict Diegelman and Florence (Rozelle) Diegelman, was born Dec. 2, 1896, in Livingston County. He resided in Kansas City 20 years prior to returning to Chillcothe for a residence. In 1921, he married Gladys Clowdis and to this union a son, Max Eugene, was born. Survivors are his son, Max Eugene, who resides at Norfolk Island in the South Pacific; a brother, William Diegelman, Kansas City, and a sister, Mrs. Anna May Bergman, Pond Creek, Okla. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was preceded In death by his parents; two brothers, Johnny and Earl Diegelman, and two sisters, Mrs. Zeffie Carter and Mrs. Elnora Blue.
