"Home and County News - Mrs. Mary Park Dickson died at the home of her daughter Mrs. A. M. Templin, in Palmer, Neb., on Monday. The deceased had been in poor health for several years and her death was not entirely unexpected. She accompanied her daughter to Nebraska some weeks ago, but her condition became gradually worse until death came to her relief. Her age was 75 years. She leaves an aged husband, James Dickson, Sr. , and three children – James Park of Canfield, Mrs. James Wallace of Philadelphia and Mrs. A. M. Templin of Palmer, Neb. Her remains were brought here Thursday for burial. Services held in the Disciple Church at 2 p.m. were conducted by Elder J. M. Vanhorn of Warren who for many years was the pastor of the deceased. Interment in the village cemetery."

"Mr. Park was born April 14, 1842, in County Down, Ireland, coming with his parents to the United States at the age of seven years, first stopping in Philadelphia and later coming to Pittsburgh and Canfield, settling in the Dublin neighborhood. "(He) left no children. He leaves two nephews, Edward and Curtis Templin of Chugwater, Wyoming, and a niece Mrs. Sarah Peck of Grant, Neb. Mr. Park was the last living descendent of the Dublin Irish pioneers."
