She was born March 21, 1918 in Shelby
County, Ill., to James G. and Shirley
(Schultz) Dickinson.
She was raised and educated in Moorcroft, Wyo.
She Married Clayton Crayne on Aug. 21, 1934.
He preceded her in death in 1998.
Mrs. Crayne worked with her husband as
owners-operators of Falls City Grocery
store in Falls City Ore. from 1944 to
1947.
She and her husband started Crayne's
Poultry Farm in 1953, and operated it
until 1972, when they retired. After
their retirements, she and her husband
traveled the U.S. and spent 11 winters
in Arizona. They were loving companions.
Her greatest pleasure was her family. She
enjoyed playing cards, was a master
crocheter, and was a fabulous cook,
renowned for her maple bars and cinnamon
rolls.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in
death by two sisters.
The funeral service will begin at noon
Tuesday at Steele Chapel at Longview
Memorial Park.
