Edna L. Hogan, 77, of Palmettow, Fla., died Sunday at a nursing home in Bradenton, Fla. She was born in Grand Rapids on July 3, 1901, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Droste) Dickerson.

She graduated from Grand Rapids Central High School worked as a secretary for furniture manufacturing firms. She was married to Lloyd Hogan in Grand Rapids on June 29, 1935. The couple made their home there until moving to Ionia in 1946. In 1974 they moved to Florida.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Julia Pierce of Ionia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Leddick Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Dow of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
