Mr DiLeo was born on June 30, 1902 in Waterbury and was the son of the late Angelo M. and Maria (Parziale) Dileo. Mr. DiLeo lived most of his life in Waterbury and the past 16 years in Oakville.
Mr. DiLeo was a salesman with the Brass City Floorlng Co. until his retirement. Mr. Dileo was an honorary member of the Florio Post, a member of the Pontelandofo Social Club, past president of the Connecticut Floor Covering Club, a member of the Republican Town Committee of Waterbury, past president of the Italian-Republican Club, member of the Board or Directors of the Watertown Fife and Drum Corps, an active member of the Waterbury Area Retirees, a member of the Italian American Civic Club, and a leader of many sports in his earlier years. Mr. DiLeo was also a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church.
Mr. DiLeo leaves his widow, Carmela (Nardozzi) DiLeo, Oakville, one son, Angelo W. DiLeo, Waterbury; one daughter, Mrs. Salvatore Rinaldi, Oakville, one brother, Mr. Louis R. DiLeo, Waterbury, seven sisters, Mrs. Joseph Jacovino, Mrs. Catherine Guiliano, Mrs. Stephen Ferrucci, all of Waterbury: Mrs. John DeSantis, Middlebury; Mrs. John Croce and Mrs. Aurielo Macchia, both of Naugatuck; six Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
